Operation Christmas Child
The Samaritan's Purse is an organization the collects shoe boxes filled with toys, school supplies, toiletries, and more for underprivileged children from all over the world.
These shoeboxes are filled by caring and compassionate people from churches all over the world.
2010 marks the 3rd year in a row that The Azilda Baptist Chapel takes part in filling shoeboxes for the children. To find out how you too can contribute to the Operation Christmas Child campaign visit the Operation Christmas Child website.

Compassion Sunday
Sunday, September 26th, 2010, was Compassion Sunday. Compassion Sunday is a day when individuals, organizations, churches and Christians alike, come together and pray for Compassion International and the children they help.
This year 5 children were able to find sponsors after the presentation at the Azilda Bapitst Chapel... praise the Lord!

Church Family Picnic
This year marks the Azilda Baptist Chapel 1st Annual Family Picnic, and a Success it was!!!
All in all everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves. We're already looking forward to the 2nd Annual Church Family Picnic!!!!
