Pastor  

René Pomerleau came to know the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour over 27 years ago.  He grew up in the Sudbury area and is fluently bilingual.

He has also served in Southern Ontario both as Associate Pastor in Simcoe and Senior Pastor in Grand Valley.  He is a graduate of Toronto Baptist Seminary and is currently working on obtaining his Masters.  He has served at Azilda Baptist Chapel from 1995 to 1998 and has now been serving from 2007 till the present.

Elder

Kirk Sinclair is an engineer in the mining sector and has been serving as an elder at ABC since 2001. He loves computers and anything technical. His interests also include radio-controlled flight. Kirk also serves as the pianist for our Sunday Services. He has been a believer since about age 11 when, under conviction of his own sin after a young people’s Wednesday meeting, the Lord graciously opened his eyes. He loves the Word of God and getting into discussions about what passages of scripture teach. His favourite Bible passage is Ro 8:28-39 – a passage which illustrates in no uncertain terms the Sovereignty of God in salvation, and the comfort we have as believers.
